L?onie, devastated by F?lix's murder, accuses Raoul Delaunay. Giulia lies to the police to protect him because he is still threatening her daughter, Suzanne. The investigation into Prosecutor Jacquart's murder takes a new turn when Commissioner Raven discovers that Giulia owed him a large sum of money, and L?onie realizes who wrote the threatening letters Jacquart had received. Eug?nie and Jean's marriage is shaken by the revelations about their son. Meanwhile, Blanche, impressed by her husband's commitments, tries to win him back by covering for him from the German police.
