Supernanny season 2 episode 9 follows the Keilen family, a family of six from Texas. The parents, Tamara and Joe, are struggling to control their four children - 7-year-old son Kaiden, 5-year-old daughter Chloe, 3-year-old son Kashton, and 2-year-old daughter Keianna. Tamara, a stay-at-home mom, feels overwhelmed by the constant chaos and admits to being inconsistent with discipline. Joe works long hours as a truck driver, leaving Tamara to handle most of the parenting duties.

Supernanny Jo Frost arrives at the Keilen's home and observes the family's daily routine. She quickly notices that the children are in charge and the parents are struggling to set boundaries. The children display aggressive behavior towards each other, with Kaiden and Chloe often bickering and Kashton and Keianna throwing tantrums when they don't get their way.

Jo sits down with Tamara and Joe to discuss their parenting methods. Tamara feels guilty about not disciplining her children enough, while Joe admits to being too lenient. Jo stresses the importance of consistency and sets up a reward chart system to encourage good behavior.

Jo begins working with each child individually, starting with Kaiden. She observes that he lacks self-control and is easily distracted. Jo shows Tamara and Joe techniques to help Kaiden calm down and focus, including deep breathing exercises and a designated "calm down zone."

Next, Jo works with Chloe, who is often quick to lose her temper. Jo encourages Tamara and Joe to give Chloe positive praise when she behaves well and not to react when she misbehaves. Jo also shows Chloe how to use calming techniques like taking deep breaths.

Jo's next task is to work with Kashton, who throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way. Jo advises Tamara and Joe to create a routine for Kashton to follow and to give him positive reinforcement when he follows the routine. Jo shows Kashton how to express his emotions using words, rather than throwing a tantrum.

Lastly, Jo works with Keianna, who is too young to understand the reward chart system. Jo shows Tamara and Joe how to use redirection techniques to keep Keianna occupied and teaches them how to handle her tantrums.

As the week progresses, the Keilen family begins to see positive results from Jo's techniques. The children are much calmer and are behaving better towards each other. Tamara and Joe feel more confident in their parenting abilities and are finally on the same page when it comes to discipline.

Supernanny Jo Frost leaves the family with a new set of tools to help them continue to improve their parenting. Tamara and Joe feel hopeful about the future and are grateful for Jo's help in bringing peace back to their home.
