Eugeo has been taken prisoner by the Integrity Knights, leaving Kirito to face off against the two remaining knights, Deusolbert and Eldrie, on his own. Meanwhile, Alice, who has been watching the battle from afar, begins to question her loyalty to the Axiom Church and her role as an Integrity Knight. As Kirito struggles to hold his own against the powerful knights, he remembers the lessons he learned from Eugeo and carries on with renewed determination. Finally, he manages to break through Deusolbert's defense and disables him with a well-timed strike. However, Eldrie remains a formidable foe, and Kirito is soon overpowered, leading Alice to make a fateful decision. As the two knights prepare to finish off Kirito, Alice intervenes, confronting Eldrie and challenging him to a duel to the death.
