Tork the puma is on the prowl and the wolf-cubs are forbidden from leaving the den. But Wanji disobeys anyway and heads out to meet up with Cinksi and Wahi who fall into the ravine to escape the puma, and so our three friends are all now stuck. The other wolf-cubs follow their trail to find them before their parents get home, the hunted parties the predator of their territory.
