In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012) season 2 episode 14, entitled "Manhattan Project (2)", the Turtles are still struggling to thwart the plans of their arch-nemesis, Shredder, who has teamed up with the alien Kraang to conquer New York City. The episode opens with the Turtles heading back into the sewers after narrowly escaping Shredder's clutches in the previous episode.
As they lick their wounds and come up with a new plan, they receive unexpected help from an old friend: April's father, Kirby. Kirby is a scientist and inventor who has been working on a project to create a powerful and indestructible metal alloy, and he believes that it may be the key to defeating Shredder and the Kraang once and for all.
With Kirby's help, the Turtles set out on a dangerous mission to retrieve the rare components needed to create the alloy. Along the way, they encounter a number of obstacles, including the Foot Clan soldiers who are on high alert for any signs of the Turtles. They also encounter the mysterious mutant known as "The Pulverizer", who has been mutated once again into a new and even more dangerous form.
Eventually, the Turtles are able to gather all of the necessary components and bring them back to Kirby's lab, where he puts the finishing touches on the alloy. However, just as they are celebrating their success, they are ambushed by both Shredder's Foot Clan and the Kraang, who have joined forces to stop the Turtles once and for all.
A fierce battle ensues, with the Turtles and their allies fighting valiantly against the overwhelming forces of Shredder and the Kraang. In the end, the Turtles are able to defeat their enemies and destroy the Kraang's portal generator, effectively cutting off their foothold in New York City.
With this victory, the Turtles and their allies are finally able to take a breath and regroup. However, they know that the fight is far from over, as they continue to face new threats and challenges in their quest to protect New York City from all who would harm it.
