The Looney Tunes Show
- 2 Seasons
The Looney Tunes Show is an animated television show. The series focuses on roommates Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck and the issues they encounter in their suburban life. Many of the problems for the main characters arise from Daffy's selfish, insensitive and often clueless attitude towards those around him, including Bugs. Despite all of the trouble that Daffy causes, however, Bugs still considers him his best friend, and Daffy sees Bugs as the same. Many other classic Looney Tunes characters populate their world, such as Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales, Tweety Bird, Yosemite Sam and Tasmanian Devil, to name a few. Outside of the Looney Tunes characters, the rest of the people who make up the world are human. The series' humor mostly comes from the back-and-forth dialogue between the characters, although there is also a healthy dose of slapstick humor thrown in as well. Most episodes also have a short music video, which are called Merrie Melodies, as well as a CGI short which features the Road Runner and Coyote. The Merrie Melodies have one of the many Looney Tunes characters singing a song about a random subject. The CGI shorts chronicle Wile E. Coyote's eternal quest to catch and eat the Road Runner. While it is an animated show aimed at children, there is plenty of humor for adults who choose to watch the show as well. Jeff Bergman, Kristen Wiig, Bob Bergen and Fred Armisen are some of the many voice actors for the show. Along with the main cast, the show features a number of guest stars such as Garry Marshall, Billy West and John O'Hurley. The series is currently in its second season and airs on Cartoon Network. Each episode is approximately 21 minutes in length and fits into a half-hour time slot. The show is owned and distributed by Warner Bros.
