In Australia, they meet a kangaroo with her joey in her pouch. The little joey lost something precious, and the backyard buddies go searching for it. They finally find it, and the grateful momma kangaroo hops them across the desert to the next location.

In their last leg, they arrive in the Amazon Rainforest where they encounter a boa constrictor who has trouble getting through a narrow passage. Tyrone and his elephant decide to help, and they use their combined strength to move a giant rock, clearing the route for the other racers.

As the backyard buddies race to the finish line and clock in their last lap, they disappointedly find that there are no winners! Everyone had helped each other, and thus everyone is declared a winner. Everyone's glad spirits are further lifted when they realize they have gone around the whole world in one day!
