Leonard's plans for a night of watching "Doctor Who" with his friends are interrupted when he receives a phone call from an ex-girlfriend who needs his help. While Leonard is away, the guys run into trouble when they accidentally hit a dog on the way home from buying more beer. However, they are completely unprepared for what happens when they bring the injured canine back to their apartment.
Meanwhile, the usually tightly-wound Sheldon is thrown off-balance when he realizes that his routine and his predictions have all gone awry. As he struggles to cope with the unexpected changes around him, he begins to worry that he is turning into a werewolf.
As the night wears on, tensions rise as the guys wait for Leonard to return with his ex-girlfriend. They must deal with the consequences of their actions while also facing the possibility that one of their own may be transforming into a terrifying beast.
In this hilarious and suspenseful episode, the gang faces their fears and learns some hard lessons about growing up and taking responsibility for their choices. Along the way, they discover that true friendship means standing by each other even when things get hairy.
