Jane is determined to find a new story to write about after her editor assigns her to a potentially demeaning story. She meets a woman named Mia, who is the owner of a high-end fashion boutique, and is immediately fascinated by her life story. Despite her boss Jacqueline's warning that Mia is off-limits for a story, Jane can't resist digging deeper and gets closer to Mia.

Meanwhile, Kat tries to help a Muslim photographer, Adena, whose work has been censored due to its religious content. She struggles to balance her personal beliefs and professional responsibilities, but ultimately decides to fight for Adena's artistic freedom.

Sutton faces her own challenges when she is given the task of styling a shoot for a lingerie brand, but has to work with a difficult photographer. She turns to her colleagues for advice and support, but ultimately relies on her own instincts to stand up for herself and get the job done.
