Ep 3. Get Some

In The Boys season 1 episode 3 titled "Get Some," Hughie struggles with the aftermath of the tragedy that befell him in the previous episode. The Boys try to get more information about the superhero world as they continue their mission to take down Vought. Meanwhile, Starlight faces new challenges as she tries to fit in with the Seven.

The episode begins with Hughie returning to work, still traumatized by the loss of his girlfriend. He struggles to keep it together as he goes through his day, haunted by memories of her. But when A-Train shows up at his workplace, Hughie confronts him and demands that he take responsibility for his actions.

The Boys try to get more information about the superheroes and their origins. They realize that Vought is behind all of the Supes and that they are manipulating them for their own gain. They go after a retired Supe named Ezekiel, hoping to get information from him. But things take a dangerous turn when they discover that Ezekiel is not what he seems.

At the same time, Starlight faces new challenges as she tries to fit in with the Seven. She is made to wear a revealing outfit and put on a show for the cameras. She is uncomfortable with this but complies, hoping to make a good impression. But when a member of the Seven takes advantage of her, she is forced to confront her own beliefs and the reality of the world she has entered.

The episode ends with Hughie and Butcher continuing their mission to take down Vought. They come up with a plan to use Annie, aka Starlight, to their advantage. But Annie is torn between her loyalty to the Seven and her desire to do what is right. She knows that she is in a dangerous position and that the consequences of her actions could be severe.

"Get Some" is a tense and emotional episode that explores the darker side of the superhero world. It showcases the struggles that the characters face as they try to navigate this dangerous world and fight against corruption and greed. The episode also introduces new characters and sets up important plot points for the rest of the season.
