Aspirants is a 2021 Hindi comedy drama series created by The Viral Fever for Amazon Prime Video. Set in Delhi, the show follows the lives of three young UPSC aspirants - Abhilash, Guri and SK - as they prepare for the prestigious civil services examination while also dealing with the ups and downs of everyday life.

The story begins when Abhilash, an idealistic small-town boy, moves into a PG in Delhi to start his UPSC preparation. Here he meets his roommate Guri, a street-smart local who knows his way around Delhi and has a nonchalant attitude towards UPSC. Their third housemate is SK, a well-educated but confused soul still figuring out what he wants from life. The three boys bond over their shared obsession with clearing UPSC and supporting each other's preparation.

As Abhilash starts his rigorous study routine, he realizes that UPSC demands more than just bookish knowledge. He has much to learn from Guri's practical street wisdom and SK's philosophical outlook. Guri too recognizes that Abhilash's honesty and determination are valuable virtues for not just cracking UPSC but also leading a principled life. SK finds purpose in helping his friends, reigniting his own passion.

Apart from portraying the students' struggles, Aspirants also provides a glimpse into Delhi's thriving UPSC coaching industry and the socioeconomic diversity of aspirants. Through lighthearted moments between intense study sessions, late night walks and endless cups of chai, the show depicts an authentic student experience.
