The original fantasy series Amazing Stories told tales of the supernatural and the unbelievable. The series is in an anthology format. Each episode tells a different story that's unconnected to other stories in the series. The original series debuted in 1985. One episode of the series, The Family Dog, was spun off into its own series. That spin off aired for 10 episodes on CBS in 1993. The series was rebooted in 2020. The revived series aired on the Apple TV+ streaming platform. It received mixed reviews from critics, many of whom thought the new series added little of value to the original premise.
