Ep 3. Moonrise

After the intense battle in the previous episode, "Moonrise" begins with the characters regrouping and reflecting on what has transpired. Prince Callum and Ezran discuss their father and the possibility that he could still be alive, while Rayla grapples with the guilt she feels over deceiving the princes.

However, their self-reflection is interrupted when they receive a distressing message from General Amaya, the aunt of the princes who has been left in charge of defending the kingdom in their father's absence. She informs them that the Moonshadow elves have infiltrated the human kingdom and stolen an important relic.

The group quickly sets out to retrieve the stolen item before the elves can use it to their advantage. Along the way, they come across unexpected obstacles and have to rely on their developing friendships and skills to overcome them.

Meanwhile, the audience is also given a glimpse into the world of the Moonshadow elves and the political tensions that exist within their society. We meet Runaan, the elf who led the infiltration mission, as well as his protege, Rayla. We also learn about the powerful magical abilities that the elves possess, as they make use of moon magic to assist in their mission.

As the two factions converge and confront each other, viewers are left to ponder if peace can ever truly be achieved between the humans and the elves. Moreover, "Moonrise" raises several questions about loyalty, as the characters grapple with the difficult choices they must make to stay true to their respective causes.
