Ep 21. Love at First Fight

In the season 1 episode 21 of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air titled "Love at First Fight," Will gets himself into a bit of a predicament when he agrees to take his girlfriend, Kathleen, to a fancy French restaurant for their anniversary. Will quickly discovers that the prices on the menu are way out of his budget, so he decides to take Kathleen to the Mexican restaurant next door instead. Back at the Mexican restaurant, Will and Kathleen's fight escalates and she storms out, leaving Will to pay the bill that he cannot afford. He tries to flee the restaurant without paying, but he gets caught by the manager and is forced to wash dishes to pay off his debt.

The night gets even worse for Will when he sees Kathleen out on a date with another guy, David, at the same French restaurant that his aunt and uncle are at. Will is angry and jealous, and decides to confront Kathleen about it. She tells him that she only went on the date with David to make him jealous and that she still loves Will. Will forgives her and the two make up.

Meanwhile, at the French restaurant, Uncle Phil has had enough of the obnoxious couple and confronts them. The situation gets heated and a fight breaks out. Aunt Vivian is embarrassed, but Uncle Phil is proud of himself for standing up for his wife.

In the end, all of the couples (Will and Kathleen, Phil and Vivian, and the obnoxious couple) wind up at the same Mexican restaurant. Will apologizes to the manager and pays his debt, Uncle Phil and Aunt Vivian apologize to each other for their anniversary being ruined, and the obnoxious couple makes peace with everyone.

"Love at First Fight" is a fun episode filled with laughs and drama.
