Ep 0. A New Beginning

The Good Wife season 3 episode 0, titled A New Beginning, picks up where season 2 left off - with Alicia Florrick (played by Julianna Margulies) and Will Gardner (played by Josh Charles) finally giving in to the romantic tension that had been building between them for two seasons. However, the episode is not just about Alicia and Will's new relationship - it's also about their professional futures.

Alicia and Will are both partners at the law firm Lockhart Gardner, but their new romance is causing tension in the workplace. Kalinda Sharma (played by Archie Panjabi) is starting a new job at Lockhart Gardner's rival firm, and is trying to keep her past relationship with Will a secret.

The episode also introduces some new characters - most notably, Eli Gold (played by Alan Cumming), who becomes Peter's campaign manager. Eli is a colorful and somewhat shady character, and provides some comic relief in an otherwise tense episode.

Throughout the episode, we see Alicia and Will struggling to balance their personal and professional lives. They try to keep their relationship a secret from their colleagues, but find it increasingly difficult as their feelings for each other grow. They also must deal with the fact that their new romance could affect their clients and the success of the firm.
