Ep 1. Wake-Up Call

The Guild is a web series created by Felicia Day that follows the lives of six online gamers who are part of a guild in their favorite MMORPG game. Season 1 episode 1, named Wake-Up Call, introduces us to the characters and their world.

Meanwhile, the guild is in disarray, as their leader, Vork, has quit playing the game, leaving the other members without any guidance. Everyone is confused and wondering what to do next, except for Bladezz, the youngest member, who is too busy worrying about his image and performing stupid stunts to notice.

As the episode progresses, we see the characters trying to deal with the different issues they are facing. Codex is trying to get rid of Zaboo while also trying to keep a good relationship with her boss at work. Vork is contemplating his decision to stop playing the game, while Clara, another guild member, is trying to balance her duties as a mother with her love of gaming.

Throughout the episode, we see glimpses of the online game, with the characters interacting and completing different quests, as well as attending a virtual party. These scenes are interspersed with moments of real-life awkwardness and humor, as the characters struggle with their inner conflicts while also trying to build and maintain relationships.
