Ep 1. Pilot

Episode 1 also introduces viewers to the rest of the characters, notably Gemma, Dave's wife, and their two sons, who also struggle with adjusting to their new surroundings. Gemma is excited about the move but also overwhelmed with the responsibility of managing a new home and finding new friends. Their eldest son, Grover, is excited about exploring L.A. and its local hotspots, but the family quickly learns that the city has its own set of challenges.

Throughout the episode, there are several funny moments, touching moments and heartwarming moments. It highlights the importance of being open-minded, honest, and respectful when bridging cultural differences.
