Ep 4. Whose Blood is That?

The Passage season 1 episode 4, titled "Whose Blood is That?" opens to reveal Amy unwrapping a present from Brad, which turns out to be a Walkie-Talkie set. Amy is ecstatic and cannot stop playing with the toy. Meanwhile, Guilder meets with Richards to discuss their progress and the severity of the situation at the Project NOAH facility.

Meanwhile, at the facility, Anthony tries to reset the elevator to help Clark and Jonas, who are trapped inside. Meanwhile, numerous virals are wreaking havoc on the facility's infrastructure. Sarah, realizing the significance of the conversation, takes the Walkie-Talkie away from Amy. Sarah tries to reassure Amy that Brad will be back soon and that he has to go for work. Amy seems to be understanding, but deep down, she is sad that Brad is leaving.

Meanwhile, Lila and Jonas have a conversation regarding their past. They discuss their mistakes and how they ended up at the Project NOAH facility. Jonas then tries to make contact with Anthony to get out of the elevator, but to no avail. Anthony tries to reset the elevator, but he fails, and the elevator collapses.

However, a viral breaks through the elevator door, and Clark fights it off with his bare hands. Clark then tells Jonas and Lila that they must find a weapon and escape the facility. However, Lila and Jonas are hesitant, and they try to find another way out.

As they begin to explore, they realize that the entire facility is overrun by virals. The crew tries to protect themselves by barricading themselves in a room. Meanwhile, Anthony is trying to repair the elevator and get to the trapped trio. At the same time, Guilder is getting increasingly anxious and calls the facility to inquire about their progress.

Clark then makes a bold decision to exit the room and try to find a way out. He succeeds in getting outside, but he is immediately attacked by a viral. Meanwhile, Lila and Jonas are still trying to find a way out.

The scene then shifts back to Amy, who is left alone with Richards. They have an awkward conversation, and Amy quickly realizes that Richards is not who he appears to be. She becomes frightened and tries to fight off Richards. However, he overpowers her and injects her with a deadly serum.

The episode comes to a close as the crew begins to realize that they are running out of time and must decide their next move. Meanwhile, Brad listens in on Amy's Walkie-Talkie and realizes that something is wrong. He decides to go back to the facility to save Amy, but not before a violent encounter with Fanning.
