The Rotten Tomatoes Show was a weekly television series dedicated to reviewing new releases in film and television, as well as offering discussions on classic movies and TV shows. The show, which aired on Current TV, was hosted by Brett Erlich, Ellen Fox, and Alonso Duralde.

Each episode began with the hosts briefly recapping the top 5 movies at the box office for the week. They then delved into their reviews of new releases for the week, offering their opinions on the quality of the films and the performances of the actors. They also rated the movies on the Rotten Tomatoes scale, which is a system that compiles reviews from professional critics to create a score out of 100. If a movie was "fresh" and scored 60% or higher, it was given a red tomato, while if it was "rotten" and scored below 60%, it was given a green splat.

The show didn't just focus on movies, though. They also discussed new television shows and streaming programs. The hosts explored the stories, characters, and writing, in addition to the production value of the shows. This offered a well-rounded review of all aspects of entertainment.

One of the highlights of the show was the segment titled "The Last 10," where the hosts were put on the spot and asked to name the last ten movies they had seen. This segment offered some insight into the personal tastes of the hosts when it came to entertainment. It was not uncommon for the hosts to banter and debate over the merits of certain movies.

Another segment of the show was titled "Beta Test." This segment featured the hosts discussing upcoming movies and television shows that had yet to be released. They gave their predictions on whether they believed the movie was going to be "fresh" or "rotten," based on little more than a trailer or teaser. This added an element of excitement and anticipation for viewers who were looking forward to upcoming releases.

The Rotten Tomatoes Show also paid tribute to classic movies and TV shows in their segment "Classic Rock," where they discussed and reviewed movies or shows that were released years or even decades ago. This offered younger viewers the opportunity to learn about some of the most iconic and influential works of entertainment history.

Throughout the show, the hosts also interacted with viewers via social media, answering questions and reading comments from fans. This added an interactive element to the show that helped it stand out from other entertainment review shows.

Overall, The Rotten Tomatoes Show was an entertaining and informative show that offered a comprehensive review of new releases in movies and television, as well as discussions on classic works of entertainment. The chemistry between the hosts was great, and their banter and debates added some fun and unpredictability to the show. With a focus on storytelling, acting, and production values, this series was an excellent resource for anyone who loves the world of entertainment.
