Ep 1. Odd Couples

In "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" season 2 episode 1, titled "Odd Couples," the show opens up with Maddie, played by Ashley Tisdale, finding out that her boyfriend has just moved away to Hong Kong. Depressed and alone, she attempts to get away from everyone by locking herself in the employee lounge.

Meanwhile, Cody starts to notice that his twin brother Zack has become obsessed with playing the newest video game, which has replaced everything else in his life. Worried about his brother's sudden change in behavior, Cody tries to find ways to get him to stop playing the game and spend more time with him.

In another part of the hotel, London, played by Brenda Song, is trying to come up with her new design for a fashion line that she will present to her father. With her best friend Maddie out of commission, she turns to the only other person she knows who is responsible, and asks Esteban to help her create the designs. However, the two quickly realize that they have vastly different styles, leading to some bickering and arguments throughout the episode.

Throughout the course of "Odd Couples," the three storylines interweave as the characters try to solve their problems. Maddie eventually opens up to London about her issues, while Cody comes up with a plan to get Zack into the real world again. And Esteban and London learn to compromise and work together to come up with the perfect fashion line.

As with most episodes of "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," "Odd Couples" is full of witty banter, clever jokes, and lots of laughs. It's also a great portrayal of how people from diverse backgrounds can come together and learn to work as a team to solve their problems, making for an enjoyable and heartwarming hour of television.
