The Suite Life on Deck
- 105 Seasons
A sequel to the earlier Disney series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, The Suite Life on Deck is a Disney Channel production that incorporates many of the stars of the original series into a different environment. Transplanting the series from the hotel owned by the father of main female character London Tipton to a cruise ship owned by the Tipton family sees the series travel the world incorporating characters from different cultures. The main focus of the show remains of the adventures and lives of twins Zack and Cody Martin, played by real life siblings Dylan and Cole Sprouse. Former hotel manager Mr. Moseby is now the manager of the cruise ship, the S.S. Tipton that earlier featured in an episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The Suite Life on Deck Follows the character of London Tipton onto the cruise ship to attend the school that is on board after meeting her when they lived with their Mom at the Tipton Hotel from The Suite Life Zack and Cody travel the world. Initially having the money to pay for the semester on board the ship the brothers are forced to find jobs when the irresponsible brother, Zack loses their tuition money. Both work on board the ship and attend Seven Seas High with London and the object of Cody's affection Bailey Prickett. Much of the drama and comedy of the show revolves around Cody and Bailey's relationship that fails to run smoothly due to the interventions of their friends and family. Because they are forced to share a room London and Bailey form a strong friendship despite their very different upbringings. The Suite Life on Deck completed three seasons totaling 71 episodes and a number of special crossover episodes with stars of other Disney series, including Hannah Montana and the Wizards of Waverley place. Producers of the show claimed the choice of depicting a school on board a cruise ship was influenced by the need to appeal the show to a global audience.
