The Undateables Season 5 Episode 2 James, Lucas and Tom

James has been struggling to find love for quite some time now. But his disability has been a major obstacle in finding a partner who would accept him with all his differences. With the help of the Undateables team, James sets out on a journey towards finding his soulmate. He meets with a dating coach who guides him through the process of making an online dating profile that truly represents him. Armed with his new dating profile, James goes on a date with Charlotte, who also has a disability. The two hit it off well and enjoy each other's company. But, with the world still grappling with the pandemic, the pair is forced to keep in touch over video call, making it difficult to take their relationship further.

Lucas, a young man with Down Syndrome, wants nothing more than finding love. After a few failed attempts, he and his family turn to the Undateables team for help. The dating agency introduces Lucas to a girl named Francesca, who, like Lucas, also has Down Syndrome. As they get to know each other, they find several common interests, and their compatibility becomes more and more apparent. The couple embarks on a romantic date to a seaside town and spend time getting to know each other better. Will their connection deepen, or will it be another heartbreak for Lucas?

Tom has cerebral palsy and is looking for someone who can see beyond his physical limitations and appreciate him for who he is. Like James, Tom also seeks the help of the Undateables team to find love. He meets dating coach, Lizzi, who helps him put together a dating profile that would attract the right person. Tom then sets out on a date with Karla, a woman he met online. With their shared interest in board games, the pair have a fun evening filled with laughter. As the night progresses, they realize that they have a deep connection that goes beyond their physical differences.
