Ep 5. What It Always Is

In The Walking Dead season 10 episode 5, titled "What It Always Is," the survivors of the zombie apocalypse continue to grapple with their new reality while they face new challenges and threats.

The episode focuses on a few key storylines. First, we see the return of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the former leader of the Saviors who betrayed Rick Grimes and his group. Negan, now living on his own, comes across a group of survivors who have been terrorized by a gang of villains known as the Whisperers. Seeing an opportunity, Negan decides to try and earn the trust of the Whisperers by bringing them a gift: a captured member of his old group.

Meanwhile, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Connie (Lauren Ridloff) continue their search for Henry (Matt Lintz), who has gone missing. Along the way, they encounter several obstacles, including a dangerous group of walkers and a confrontation with a deaf Whisperer named Kelly (Angel Theory).

While all this is going on, we also see more of the ongoing drama between Carol (Melissa McBride) and Alpha (Samantha Morton), the leader of the Whisperers. Despite Carol's attempts to get revenge on Alpha for killing her son, she finds herself at the mercy of the cunning and ruthless leader yet again.

As always, The Walking Dead delivers plenty of suspense, action, and drama in this episode. Fans will appreciate the continued exploration of some of the show's most intriguing characters, as well as the introduction of new threats and challenges. With only a few episodes left in the season, viewers will surely be on the edge of their seats to see what will happen next.
