Ep 1. A New Beginning

In the season 9 premiere of The Walking Dead, entitled "A New Beginning," the survivors have been living in relative peace for the past several years. The communities of Alexandria, Hilltop, and The Kingdom have banded together and created a prosperous society, complete with farms, trade, and even entertainment.

However, with the arrival of a mysterious group called The Whisperers, tensions begin to rise. This new threat wears the skins of the dead and seems to have a twisted view of the world. Meanwhile, Rick and Michonne are raising their daughter Judith and continuing to lead the communities.

But with the arrival of Maggie's baby and a new group of survivors who need their help, the delicate balance of their society is threatened. Old wounds and grudges bubble to the surface, and some members begin to question Rick's leadership.

As the survivors try to navigate this new world and defend themselves against The Whisperers, they must also confront their own inner demons and make tough decisions about their future. "A New Beginning" sets the stage for what promises to be an intense and emotional season of The Walking Dead.
