The Yorkshire Vet follows the journey of veterinary practitioners Peter Wright and Julian Norton as they travel around the Yorkshire countryside tending to all sorts of animals both big and small. Viewers are taken on a fascinating journey of the trials and tribulations of treating a wide range of animals in different types of environment, from farms to private homes. In season 3, episode 10, the duo are attending to a wide range of animals, providing medical treatment, advice, and care where needed.

They must do everything in their power to ensure the otter receives the best care possible, and this means taking it to the nearby Otter Trust.

Another interesting feature of this episode is the process of vaccination administration. Several different animals are shown receiving various vaccinations, and we get to see the procedures involved with vet care. There is a remarkable scene where a pet cow is vaccinated, and the duo have to move it back to its stall after it gets confused upon coming out of sedation. Watching Wright and Norton navigating this task with precision and care makes for incredible viewing.

As the episode advances, we follow the vets on a visit to the famous York Racecourse. Horses are some of the most popular animals among the patrons of this course, and the vets provide medical care for many of them. We get to see the fantastic care that is given to the horses before, during, and after the races. It is an intriguing experience, and we learn much about the dedication required to treat animals in such an intense environment successfully.

Lastly, the episode wraps up with an emergency call to attend to an injured deer. The duo rushes to the scene of the accident to see a heavily injured animal that needs immediate attention. They quickly assess the deer's injuries and transport it back to the surgery for removal of the bullet that was lodged in its hindquarters.

The Yorkshire Vet, season 3, episode 10 is a unique show that offers viewers a new appreciation of veterinary work. We get to witness the intense effort and dedication that goes into the treatment of animals and learn about the challenges faced in the profession.
