In Episode 8 of Trollied season 3, tensions are high as the store is about to undergo a major inspection from head office. Gavin, the store manager, is on edge and determined to make sure everything runs smoothly. However, things quickly go awry when he realizes that Julie, the head cashier, is missing and he needs her to sign off on some important paperwork.

He enlists the help of Neville, the security guard, to set up a romantic gesture. However, their plan goes awry when they accidentally set off the fire alarm, causing chaos in the store.

Elsewhere, the rest of the staff are dealing with their own personal and professional struggles. Kieran, the young trainee, is struggling to keep up with the demands of the job and is worried he will be let go after the inspection. Linda, the supervisor, is dealing with some family drama and trying to keep it together at work. And Margaret, the elderly cashier, is feeling underappreciated and forgotten by her colleagues.
