In the fourth episode of the first season of TURN, titled "Eternity How Long," tensions continue to rise as the war intensifies and the stakes grow higher.
As the Continental Army struggles to gain an advantage over the British, so too do the members of the Culper Ring work to gain an edge in the intelligence war. Abe continues to collect intelligence on Major Andre, and develops a plan to get closer to him through his love interest, Peggy. Meanwhile, General Washington sends Ben on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines to gather information on the British troops.
Amidst this high-stakes environment, relationships are tested and loyalties are questioned. Abe's relationship with his father reaches a breaking point when he confronts him about his allegiance to the British crown. Anna's loyalty to her husband, Selah, is called into question as she becomes more involved with the Culper Ring and risks putting herself in danger. And Simcoe continues to antagonize and intimidate anyone who stands in his way, including Richard and Anna.
As the episode builds towards its climax, the tension becomes almost unbearable. Will Abe be able to gain the trust of Peggy and get closer to Andre? Will Ben's mission be successful, or will he be caught by the British? And what will happen to Anna and the rest of the Culper Ring as Simcoe's threats become more and more ominous?
All these questions and more will be answered in "Eternity How Long," a thrilling and suspenseful episode that captures the intensity and uncertainty of the Revolutionary War and the struggle for independence.
