Kotaro goes to investigate and meets a local girl, Kaoru, who is shunned by the others as she is called the Fox Possessor. The villagers conclude that she is responsible for the will-o'-the-wisps and goes out to capture her. But then, the real culprit responsible for the incidents appear, the monster Miegon.
