Ep 8. The Bounty / The Ball

In Wander Over Yonder season 1 episode 8, entitled "The Bounty / The Ball," viewers are taken on two different adventures.

In the first half of the episode, "The Bounty," viewers follow Wander and Sylvia as they enter a planet with a notorious bounty hunter named Killbot 86. The duo quickly learns that Killbot 86 has captured all of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, including Sylvia's old rival, Brunhilda. To free the captured bounty hunters and stop Killbot 86 from causing any more harm, Wander and Sylvia devise a plan to create a fake bounty for Killbot 86 to chase after. The plan goes awry, however, as Killbot 86 sees through their trick and instead decides to capture Wander for a much higher price. It's up to Sylvia to save her friend before it's too late.

In the second half of the episode, "The Ball," viewers are taken to an annual dance party on a distant planet. Wander and Sylvia are invited to attend and they quickly find themselves the center of attention due to their unique dance moves. As the night goes on, threats emerge in the form of a group of aliens who are out to ruin the party. Without any weapons or abilities to defend themselves, Wander and Sylvia must rely on their quick thinking and dance moves to save the day.

Overall, "The Bounty / The Ball" provides viewers with a fun, lighthearted episode that showcases the dynamic between Wander and Sylvia and their willingness to help those in need. The two different adventures also provide a nice change of pace from the typical format of the show, allowing for more diverse storytelling.
