Web Therapy is a comedy series that follows the unconventional therapy sessions conducted by Fiona Wallice, a self-proclaimed therapist who has taken her practice online. In Season 2 Episode 2, titled "Blindsides and Backslides," Fiona continues to navigate her way through the world of online therapy, encountering various comedic situations and eccentric patients.

The episode kicks off with Fiona receiving a surprise visit from her former high school friend, Lulu Lovewell (played by guest star Lily Tomlin). Lulu is a boisterous and attention-seeking woman who hasn't quite let go of her glory days. Despite not being an official patient, Lulu barges into Fiona's therapy session, demanding immediate attention and causing chaos in the process.

Fiona tries her best to maintain control of the session and adapt her therapeutic techniques to accommodate Lulu's antics. However, Lulu's erratic behavior proves to be quite challenging, leaving Fiona struggling to keep up and make any form of progress. As Lulu continues to divert the session off-topic, Fiona must find a way to redirect the focus and try to help Lulu address her underlying issues.

Meanwhile, another patient, Jerome Sokoloff (played by Dan Bucatinsky), seeks Fiona's guidance with his marriage troubles. Jerome and his wife Lorraine have been experiencing a rough patch in their relationship, and Jerome is desperate to salvage their marriage. With Fiona's unconventional methods, he hopes to gain some insights and strategies to improve their situation.

Throughout the session, Fiona discovers some unexpected details about Jerome's personal life and his relationship with Lorraine. As the revelations come to light, Fiona realizes that there may be more to Jerome and Lorraine's marital problems than meets the eye. With her unique perspective, she sets out to uncover the roots of their issues and offer guidance in a way that only Fiona can.

Amidst Lulu's interruptions and Jerome's revelations, Fiona also finds herself entangled in her own personal problems. Her husband, Kip Wallice (played by Victor Garber), has been growing increasingly distant and secretive, leading Fiona to suspect that he may be involved in some illicit activities. Determined to get to the bottom of it, Fiona takes matters into her own hands, employing her unorthodox methods to investigate her husband's actions.

As the episode progresses, Fiona's unfiltered and often blunt approach to therapy throws her patients off balance, leading to unexpected outcomes and hilariously awkward situations. With each session, Fiona's unconventional practice continues to challenge the traditional norms of therapy, for better or for worse.

"Blindsides and Backslides" showcases the peculiar world of Fiona Wallice's online therapy practice, filled with eccentric clients, unexpected twists, and a healthy dose of laughter. Viewers are taken on a comedic journey as Fiona navigates through the chaos, trying to help her patients while juggling her own personal life. Will Fiona be able to maintain control in the midst of the madness? Tune in to watch the hilarity unfold and find out!
