Luo Zhi, a struggling actress, wakes up in a luxurious villa and finds out that she has been married off to a rich and famous CEO, Ling Yi Zhou, as per a contract signed by her mother. Later, Luo Zhi takes advice from a friend and tries to bond with Ling Yi Zhou over his interests. She goes scuba diving to find clues that Ling Yi Zhou has dropped into the water, and finally succeeds in decoding his message. This endears her to Ling Yi Zhou, and they begin to connect on a deeper level. Luo Zhi's genuine interest in Ling Yi Zhou's well-being convinces him that she is not a gold digger, and he begins to open up to her.

Towards the end of the episode, Ling Yi Zhou's condition worsens, and Luo Zhi rushes him to the hospital. This incident makes Luo Zhi realize how much Ling Yi Zhou means to her, and she decides to call off the contract that has bound them together.
