Kika's older brother, Cristobal, disapproved of the relationship and had Axel killed in an act of revenge.

At the party, Zoe spies on Oriol and his associates and realizes that they're involved in a massive drug operation. She also sees a mysterious woman wearing a white dress, who seems to be watching her every move.

The episode ends with Zoe getting caught by Oriol's henchmen and taken to a secluded location. She's confronted by Cristobal, who reveals that he's been expecting her all along. Cristobal warns Zoe to stop digging into Axel's death, but Zoe refuses to back down.
