Who Is America? season 1 episode 2 follows the format of the series, featuring comedian Sacha Baron Cohen in various undercover disguises as he interviews and pranks unsuspecting individuals. In this episode, Cohen takes on the character of Dr. Nira Cain-N'Degeocello, a liberal social justice warrior who educates individuals on the intricacies of progressive politics.

Cohen's "Dr. Nira" persona first visits an art gallery in Laguna Beach, California, and proceeds to engage the gallery owner, Christy Cones, in a discussion about masculinity and gender roles. The conversation takes a bizarre turn as Dr. Nira introduces a "sculpture" of a young boy in the form of a sex doll. The reaction of Cones and other gallery-goers range from uncomfortable to outraged.

Next, Dr. Nira visits a gun store in Riverside, California, and begins a conversation with the store owner about the possibility of arming preschoolers with guns as a means of school safety. The exchange becomes increasingly absurd as Dr. Nira proposes the creation of the "kinder-guardian" program, which would train children as young as three years old to handle firearms. The store owner and his patrons appear to take Dr. Nira's proposal seriously, despite its obvious flaws.

Later in the episode, Dr. Nira visits an Antifa meeting in Portland, Oregon, and attempts to understand the group's values and goals. With the help of a member of the group, Dr. Nira creates a chant that they can all use during protests. The chant, which involves the use of a racial slur, causes tension in the group as members argue over whether or not it is appropriate to use.

In another segment, Dr. Nira visits a Republican couple in South Carolina and attempts to convince them to raise their daughter as gender-neutral. The couple, who are devoutly Christian, appear skeptical of Dr. Nira's ideas but are nonetheless willing to engage in a discussion about gender stereotypes.

Finally, the episode ends with a prank involving former Vice President Dick Cheney. Cohen, disguised as a Finnish comedian, has Cheney autograph a waterboarding kit - a reference to his controversial approval of the practice during his time in office.

Who Is America? season 1 episode 2 pushes boundaries and challenges societal norms through Cohen's characters and their interactions with everyday people. The episode tackles topics such as gender roles, gun control, and political extremism, employing satire and humor to expose the absurdity of certain beliefs and behaviors.
