Joanna, the protagonist of Wonderfalls, may be stuck working at a souvenir shop in Niagara Falls but she's far from done with her dreams of traveling the world. Her adventures are just the beginning, and they take an extraordinary turn in episode two of season one, "Karma Chameleon." In this episode, Joanna is caught up in the world of karma when a little girl named Samantha asks her to help find her father.

At the same time, Joanna is dealing with her own karmic woes. She's working the night shift at the souvenir shop, which isn't her cup of tea, and she's also dealing with her ex-boyfriend Aaron, who wants to get back together with her. But Joanna is more interested in pining for her Italian travel guide, Raphael.

As Joanna goes about her day, she starts to notice strange coincidences happening around her. A chameleon appears and she believes it's a sign that she needs to find Samantha's father. However, things are not always as they seem, and Joanna has to learn to be patient and trust the universe.

Throughout the episode, Joanna meets a cast of characters who help her unravel the mystery of karma. A man named Jaye, who works at the wax museum, introduces her to the idea of karma and helps her understand how it works. Meanwhile, her sister Kat, a psychiatrist, tries to get Joanna to open up about her feelings for Raphael and Aaron.

As Joanna tries to solve the mystery of Samantha's father, she learns more about the importance of honesty and trust in relationships. She realizes that even with all the tricks and tools in the world, sometimes all you need is faith and a little bit of luck.

The episode also sees Joanna dealing with the repercussions of her own actions as she tries to do right by Samantha. It's a lesson in being accountable for one's actions and learning from mistakes.

But perhaps most importantly, "Karma Chameleon" shows the audience how Joanna grows as a character. She learns to let go of her own ego and embrace the world around her. She learns that sometimes, the best things in life are the ones you least expect. As Joanna unravels the mystery of Samantha's father, she discovers something about herself that changes her perspective on life.

Overall, episode two of season one, "Karma Chameleon," is a must-watch for anyone who loves a good mystery, a strong female lead, and a little bit of magic. With clever writing, a great cast, and plenty of twists and turns, it's sure to keep you engaged from start to finish.
