Ep 1. Wrap Big or Wrap at Home

Wrap Battle season 1 episode 1, titled "Wrap Big or Wrap at Home," marks the exciting beginning of a brand new holiday competition series. From the producers of hit reality show, Making It, Wrap Battle follows some of the best gift-wrappers in the country as they compete in a variety of challenges to showcase their skills and creativity.

In this first episode, the contestants are given their first challenge which is to create a gift-wrapped centerpiece for a holiday party. However, the twist is that two teams of contestants will be battling it out in the big arena while three contestants will be working from their own homes. The designers who are working from a studio will have access to all the materials they need to create a one-of-a-kind centerpiece while the ones working from home will only have access to the items in their own homes.

The contestants are given a limited amount of time to complete their project. The studio-based contestants immediately get to work, rummaging through the extensive collection of wrapping paper, ribbons, colored tissue paper, and other materials to come up with distinctive ideas for their centerpieces. The designers from home, on the other hand, have to put on their thinking caps and get creative with the resources they have at their disposal. It will be an amazing opportunity for the designers from home to show that it is not necessary to have superior collections to be creative.

As the contestants work diligently on their creations, they seek advice and feedback from the judges, who scrutinize every detail, from the colors that are used to the overall presentation of the piece. The judges will be looking to see how well the contestants use colors, patterns, and textures to bring their pieces to life. The judges have high expectations, and they will closely evaluate each piece to see if the contestants have met their criteria.

After the time is up, the contestants present their wrapped centerpieces to the judges. The judges then carefully analyze each piece and evaluate them based on their creativity, craftsmanship, and overall presentation. The judges offer constructive criticism to help the contestants improve their work.

Once the judges have evaluated the pieces, they retire to a private room to pick the winners. The judges have a tough decision to make as they try to select the top designer, knowing full well that the decision can have a significant impact on the rest of the competition.
