World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) holds monthly shows called pay per views (PPV), and have been doing so for many years. The WWE released a DVD in 2013 showcasing the best PPV matches of 2013. PPVs are meant to showcase the best talent the roster has to offer, to end feuds or spark new ones, or to further current storylines and feuds. This DVD shows some matches which are considered the greatest matches from the year.

The 3 disc DVD features great matches such as CM Punk vs The Rock at the Royal Rumble, Undertaker vs CM Punk in a historic Wrestlemania match where Undertaker defends his undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. It also features Triple H vs Brock Lesnar in a brutal Steel Cage match from the Extreme Rules PPV, the Money in the Bank Briefcase match for a contract for the World Heavyweight title, and a slew of other matches.
