In 2015, WWE Payback was a highly anticipated pay-per-view wrestling event featuring some of the biggest stars in professional wrestling. The event was held on May 17th at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD, and was broadcast live on the WWE Network. One of the biggest matches of the night was a triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship between defending champion Seth Rollins (Colby Lopez), Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa'i), and Randy Orton (Jonathan Good). The match was highly anticipated as each of the competitors had a history of success in the WWE and had been involved in some of the most memorable matches in recent years.

The match was a fast-paced affair, with each wrestler trying to gain the upper hand early on. Rollins, who had been champion for several months, was the clear favorite going into the match, but Reigns and Orton proved to be worthy challengers. The three men exchanged blows and high-flying maneuvers, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats throughout the match.

Rollins used his signature move, the Curb Stomp, to try and put Reigns away early on, but Reigns kicked out at the last second. Orton used his experience and strength to keep both Reigns and Rollins at bay, and at one point, nearly won the match with his devastating RKO finishing move.

Despite the best efforts of Reigns and Orton, Rollins managed to retain his championship by pinning Reigns after a series of high-flying moves ended with Rollins hitting the Pedigree on Reigns for the win.

Another highly anticipated match on the card was a tag-team match featuring The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) defending their WWE Tag Team Championship against Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. The New Day had been the champions for several months and had become fan favorites due to their entertaining personalities and unique brand of humor.

Cesaro and Kidd, on the other hand, were a formidable pairing who had been on a winning streak leading up to the event. The match was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams showing off their impressive in-ring skills.

The New Day used a combination of power moves and high-flying maneuvers to keep Cesaro and Kidd on their toes, while Cesaro and Kidd relied on their technical prowess and tag-team chemistry to try and outwit their opponents.

In the end, The New Day managed to retain their championship after Kingston hit the Trouble in Paradise on Kidd for the win. The victory cemented The New Day's status as one of the top tag-teams in the WWE and set the stage for future matches against some of the company's other top teams.

Other matches on the card included a singles match between John Cena and Rusev for the WWE United States Championship, a match between Bray Wyatt and Ryback, and a match between Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler.

Overall, WWE Payback was an exciting and action-packed event that showcased some of the best talent in professional wrestling. From the high-flying antics of Rollins and Reigns to the technical prowess of Cesaro and Kidd, there was something for every wrestling fan to enjoy.
