X Games 16

This is the Sixteenth Annual Summer X Games, held in Los Angeles, California. In this iteration of the gold-standard competition in the extreme sports world, the best-of-the-best compete in their respective disciplines, competing in jumping, racing and trick events in BMX, skateboarding, Moto X, and rally car racing.

Summer X Games 16 features comebacks, continued dominance by legends, and the emergence of new, budding young talents. Highlights of the 2010 event include inspiring performances by Moto X great Cam Sinclair, and a performance by Skateboard Vert impresario Kyle Loza that would cement his legacy.

  • X Games 16 saw repeats, three-peats, and four-peats, along with enough new stories to start the anticipation all over again. Catch this edition of Stomped/Slammed as host Keir Dillon takes a look at the very best moments and crashes from X Games 16 in Los Angeles.   • The final day of X Games 16 opened with tricks, surprises, upsets and triumphs on the skateboard that will keep people talking for quite some time. Then Travis Pastrana, Nate Adams, Ronnie Faisst and the boys closed out the night competing in the Moto X Speed and Style Final.

  • Chaos is the best word to describe the Rally Car events on Day 3 at X Games 16, as Travis Pastrana, Ken Block, Kenny Brack, Tanner Foust and Brian Deegan are all looking to display some gold. Then Chad Kagy, Kevin Robinson, Anthony Napolitan, Steve McCann, Andy Buckworth and Morgan Wade get ready to launch in the BMX Big Air Final.

  • The X Games party continues as the biggest athletes come searching for gold including Shaun White in the Skateboard Vert Final. Jamie Bestwick is looking to capture his seventh gold medal in BMX Vert, and hopes to earn the event's first-ever four-peat in the process. While the Moto X Best Trick contest is highlighted by the story of Australia's Cam Sinclair. After nearly killing himself when a double backflip attempt went wrong at an X-Fighters event last summer, the 26-year-old has fought through a coma, then relearned how to walk, then relearned how to ride and finally relearned the double. He will attempt the trick once again at the biggest summer party of the year.
