The expanded global X Games series has been golden so far for Bucky Lasek, who won Skateboard Vert gold on the opening day of X Games Barcelona, just one month after grabbing gold in Brazil at X Games Foz do Iguacu. Lasek, 40, is the oldest skateboarder competing at X Games Barcelona and now has a total of eight gold medals in his collection, six of them in Skateboard Vert; that ties him with Pierre-Luc Gagnon for the most Skateboard Vert medals in the 20-year history of X Games.
