Homecoming

The film starts off with Shelby (Barton) driving suspiciously at night while smoking a cigarette and crying. She then drops and hits someone that was standing near her pathway. Mike (Long) is Shelby's ex-boyfriend who goes back to town with a besutiful new girlfriend named Elizabeth (Stroup). They both go to his hometown because his football team has decided to retire his jersey. Shelby sees the new couple and is having a hard time accepting the fact that he has moved on, while she still believes they belong with each other. Meanwhile she's having problems with her bank regarding the bowling alley her mother inherited to her when she passed. After the game, Mike goes to the bowling alley with his new girlfriend and Shelby decides to kiss him.

Shelby then decides to befriend Elizabeth by drinking tequila shots with her, causing the drunk Elizabeth to tell her that's she's going to meet Mike's parents. Shelby then gives Elizabeth advice on how his parents are very judgmental people, causing Elzabeth to be very jealous. Wanting to give Mike's parents a good first impression, Elizabeth decides to stay at a motel to sleep off her intoxication, so is dropped off at a near motel by Mike's police cousin. Mike arrives home to visit his parents, who tells him that his new girlfriend accidentally got drunk at the bowling alley.

Elizabeth begins to walk by the road with a suitcase, looking for a person to drive her going to the motel. While driving, a sad crying Shelby is seen in the firet scene, but this time it shows Elizabeth trying to flag the vehicle down, causing Shelby to hit her. After the crash, Shelby puts her inside her car to takes her home, as she's afraid she might be really hurt. At her house she takes great care of Elizabeth using medical supplies leftover from the time her mom was sick.
