Mirror Mirror

Mirror Mirror is a newer version of the classic Snow White and the seven dwarves. Julia Roberts play the evil queen who has seized the kingdom from the beautiful Snow White. A relatively unknown actor named Lily Collins plays Snow White. Snow White is the rightful heir to her father's kingdom but her evil stepmother has taken control of it. The evil queen claims that Snow White is not capable of running the kingdom and she keeps Snow White under her thumb. The evil queen has turned the once prosperous kingdom into a wasteland of poverty by taxing the citizens and stripping them of their money. Snow White is fed up with the constant abuse that her stepmother subjects her too. She eventually sneaks out of the castle with the plans to see just how bad the kingdom has become.

As Snow White travels though the forest, she runs across the handsome Prince Alcott. A group of thieves, the seven dwarves, robbed the prince and his travelling companion. In the scene where Prince Alcott and his companion are robbed, the dwarves come out of nowhere. The dwarves wear a contraption on their legs that make them much taller and it gives them the ability to jump extremely high in the air and run at increased speeds. The prince and his companion are easily defeated.

After seeing how bad the once prosperous kingdom has become, Snow White is intent on overthrowing her evil stepmother. The queen has plans of her own, she plans to give Prince Alcott a potion to make him fall in love with and marry her. The queen plans to use the wealthy prince to get her kingdom out of poverty. The queen grows tired of Snow White and banishes her from the kingdom. After being kicked out of the castle, Snow White rushes to the forest where she enlists the aid of the seven dwarves to help her get rid of the queen.
