Ep 12. Send in the Clowns

Ben, Tucker, and Danny are discussing their Halloween costumes when Sam comes in and tells them she is going to a party with her "hot" friend Jenna. Ben invites himself and Danny, and while Tucker stays behind to study, Bonnie takes him out to a bar to cheer him up. Meanwhile, Riley is struggling as a lawyer and trying to get enough clients to keep her job. When Bonnie sees an ad for a clown, she suggests that Riley dress up and hand out business cards at a local Halloween carnival.

At the carnival, Riley is mistaken for a real clown and inadvertently gets hired to perform at a children's party. Meanwhile, things are not going well for Ben, Danny, and Sam at the party they are attending. Ben's costume is mistaken for a grape, Danny is mistaken for a drug dealer, and Sam's "hot" friend Jenna turns out to be a man.

Back at the children's party, Riley is doing surprisingly well as a clown, until her boss reveals that they are actually strippers dressed up as clowns. She tries to leave but ends up getting stuck in a piñata and being paraded around the party. Bonnie and Tucker come to her rescue, but when they arrive they see the stripper clown act and are convinced that Riley is leading a double life.

Meanwhile, Ben, Danny, and Sam try to salvage their night by going to a nearby haunted house, but things take a turn for the worse when they accidentally break a valuable piece of art and are chased by the owner. They end up hiding in a closet and revealing their true feelings about each other. When they finally make it out, they find that the owner of the house was actually the grape costume guy from the party, and they apologize and promise to pay for the damaged artwork.

Back at the apartment, Bonnie confronts Riley about her alleged stripper clown act and is relieved to find out it was a misunderstanding. Riley, Ben, Danny, and Sam all make up and appreciate each other's quirks and differences. The episode ends with Riley receiving a call from a new client, ensuring her job security.
