The Fox Sports produced fly on the wall documentary series Being: Liverpool follows the progress of English soccer team Liverpool Football Club during the 2012-2013 English Premier League season. Being: Liverpool tells the story of new coach Brendan Rodgers as he tries to bring his new team back to the top positions in the EPL that they have not occupied in recent seasons.

Originally shown on the Fox Soccer Channel in the U.S. the show is also broadcast by Channel 5 in the U.K. Since its premier on Fox Soccer Channel the documentary has been broadcast across the Fox family of channels in the U.S. throughout 2012. The six part first season follows the team as they prepare for the 2012-13 season through training in the north west England city of Liverpool and on a preseason tour to the U.S. Liverpool are shown playing games in the U.S. city of Boston and meeting the Boston Red Sox, who are owned by the same group of investors as Liverpool.

Each episode of the documentary series follows Brendan Rodgers as he attempts to bring in his own players and tactical system to new players and the existing squad. The personal lives of the team and administrative staff at the club are also shown with much of the time spent showing how players from different cultures adapt to life in England. During the first three episodes of Being: Liverpool the club is shown preparing for the new season and bringing in new players. In the fourth episode and beyond the first part of the Premier League season are shown through the eyes of Liverpool's players and staff members.
