Ep 17. Hope and Faith

Make It or Break It season 1 episode 17, titled "Hope and Faith," follows the lives of four very different young women as they pursue their dreams of becoming world-class gymnasts. Emily, Payson, Lauren, and Kaylie all face personal struggles and obstacles in their journey towards success, but they continue to push forward with determination and perseverance.

In this episode, the girls are faced with a number of challenges as they prepare for the upcoming National Gymnastics Championships. Emily is struggling to keep up with her training after being diagnosed with scoliosis, and her mother's interference only makes things worse. Lauren is still reeling from her breakup with Carter and is struggling to regain her focus and passion for gymnastics. And Kaylie is dealing with the fallout from her father's recent arrest, as well as the fact that she has been banned from competing in the national championships.

Despite these challenges, the girls refuse to give up hope and continue to push themselves to their limits. Emily works with her coach to develop a new training regimen that takes her scoliosis into account, while Payson seeks out alternative treatments for her ankle injury. Lauren turns to her teammates for support and encouragement, and Kaylie decides to take matters into her own hands and seek an appeal for her ban from the championships.

As the episode comes to a close, the girls are faced with even more challenges and unexpected twists that threaten to derail their dreams once again. But with their newfound sense of hope and faith, they are determined to overcome any obstacle that comes their way and ultimately achieve their goals.
