Ep 3. Auto Erotic Assimilation

In "Auto Erotic Assimilation," the third episode of the second season of the hit animated series Rick and Morty, viewers are treated to a wild ride through space and relationships. Perhaps most intriguing, however, is the central relationship between Rick and Unity. Their love affair is at once hilarious, bizarre, and poignant, with both characters expressing a deep sense of loneliness and alienation. Unity's assimilation powers give it a sense of control over the universe that Rick finds both alluring and terrifying, and their relationship is fraught with complicated power dynamics and ethical questions.
