Ep 11. Take The Ride, Pay The Toll

Take The Ride, Pay The Toll is the eleventh episode in the first season of the American TV show The Bridge (2013). Sonya tells her that they are closer than ever to finding the killer, but Charlotte is not satisfied and threatens to take matters into her own hands.

As Eleanor and Frye plan their operation, Tate goes to the ranch of his former cellmate, Jack Childress (Nathan Phillips), and tells him that he needs his help with a job. Childress initially refuses but Tate blackmails him into compliance.

The El Paso Police Department and the Chihuahua State Police launch a joint operation to catch Tate. As they close in on him, Tate takes off in a truck driven by Childress. A high-speed car chase ensues, eventually leading to a standoff on a bridge between El Paso and Juarez.

The episode ends with a shocking twist that sets up the season finale.
