A NIGHTINGALE SANG IN BERKELEY SQUARE is a comic adventure about an ex-convict, Pinky, who somehow gets a job in a bank. He tries to remain on the right side of the law, but once Ivan and the rest of the area criminals find out, they devise a plan. What if Pinky could help them rob the bank? The problem is that Pinky is trying to be a better person, but his so-called "friends" are very good at persuading him. The movie, set in London, uses the name of an old mellow British tune as its title. The song was later recorded again by Frank Sinatra.
