Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch is a family and children's film that was written by Sara Sutton, Anne Vince, Stephanie Isherwood Anna McRoberts, based upon a story by Robert Vince who also directed. The movie released by Disney film was produced by Robert Vince, Kevin Kasha, Anna McRoberts, Anne Vince and Michael Strange. The movie features a cast including Caitlin Wachs, Cynthia Stevenson, Chantal Strand, Richard Karn, Kevin Zegers, Molly Hagan, Patrick Cranshaw, Jay Brazeau and Frank C. Turner. The story concerns what is considered to be the world's most accomplished sports dog. Buddy chooses a new sport after Josh Framm (played by Kevin Zegers) goes off to college. Andrea, his younger sister (played by Caitlin Wachs) is left to guide Buddy in his latest adventure. Unfortunately, Andrea has been feeling very shut out at while at home. Since her brother left, her parents have been very busy with their new baby and her new sibling. She tries out for the baseball team. However, she is not very good at it. She is able to make the team with some help, in any case. Buddy is able to play baseball very well, as well as just about any other sporting activity. As a result, he quickly becomes a star at whatever he sets his mind to. His celebrity status, at times, can be an embarrassment for Andrea. She tries hard but Buddy always seems to outdo her, but she loves him very much. The movie explores how the family relationships develop when honesty and friendships are present. Andrea’s friendship with Tammy (played by Chantal Strand) experiences ups and downs. Most of the time, however, the two always manage to work things out. There are villains and a well trained decoy raccoon who keep stealing Buddy’s grown pups so that they can clone them into lucrative sports animals. It is unclear how well the cloning experiments proceed and if they are successful or not.
