Watch Amour Fou

A suicide pact is at the heart of this dramatic movie. A young man is an accomplished writer and poet. He lives in Berlin in the early 1800s. He believes that death with a person he loves is the ultimate expression of romance. He tries to convince his cousin, whom he loves dearly, to commit suicide with him. When he does not succeed, he turns his attention to the wife of a business associate. She has a terminal illness and begins to consider his proposal.
