Featured at the 2012 BLAS Festival, a celebration of Gaelic culture in the Scottish Highlands. "An Cridhe Cabaireach" (The Tell-Tale Heart) is a dramatic re-telling of the classic Edgar Allan Poe short story of murder and madness in an exciting new Scottish-Gaelic translation. "An Cridhe Cabaireach" is the perfect entertainment choice for a "dark and stormy night!" This expressionist and somewhat experimental version was produced in a semi-animated style using numerous digital photographs and multiple layers of high definition video to create the effect of the narrator's descent into madness. Canadian actor and Gaelic teacher Angus MacLeod speaks the Gaelic narration and is featured in the video. The original music score is by composer Anne Rhymer Schwabland. The DVD includes a Gaelic only version, a Gaelic version with English subtitles, and, as an added bonus, an English version narrated by Joseph Webb with Gaelic subtitles.
